Point Spread/ Line Wagers
Wagering on the point spread or the "line" involves wagering on one of two things:
- Whether a team will WIN BY MORE than the given amount of points.
- Whether a team will LOSE BY LESS than the given amount of points.
The team perceived to have the best chance of winning a game is given a handicap of a certain number of points for wagering purposes. This handicap is known as the "point spread," and is sometimes called the "line" or "price." The favorite is always listed with a negative number. So a line of -2 means 2 points are subtracted from the favorite’s final score. If the favorite still has more points than the underdog after these points have been subtracted, then a bet on the favorite wins.
The team perceived to have the least chance of winning a game is also given a handicap of a certain number of points for wagering purposes. The underdog is always listed with a positive number, so +2 means 2 points are added to the underdog's final score. If these additional points produce a score higher than the favorite's final score, then a bet on the underdog wins.
Example: the line on the Pistons and Lakers is Pistons-2 / Lakers +2. If you took the Pistons at -2, they are the favorites (-) and for your wager to win, they would have to beat the Lakers by more than 2 points. If you wager on the Lakers, as the underdog (+) they would have to lose by less than 2 points or win outright for your bet to be a winner.
Please note that if the Pistons beat the Lakers by exactly 2 points then this would constitute a push. Likewise if the Lakers lose by exactly 2 points, then this too would be a push. In either of these cases your original bet amount would be returned to you.
Note: Overtime periods, quarters or extra innings are counted in the final score when wagering on the point spread.

Moneyline Wagers:
A Moneyline or Straight-up wager is a bet on the outright winner of a game or event, without any point spread odds. When betting on moneylines you don't have to worry about your team winning or losing by a certain number of points. All your selection must do is win.
Example:
Chicago Cubs +120
Los Angeles Dodgers -130
The Dodgers are the favored team, as signified by the - (minus) written in front of the 130, while the Cubs are the underdogs, as designated by the + (plus) in front of the 120.
To bet on the favorite, the Dodgers, you will have to risk $130 to win $100.
To wager on the underdog, the Cubs, you will risk $100 to win $120.
Even though moneylines are expressed in units of $100, you do not have to bet that much money. Our minimum bet is just $1.
Note: Overtime periods, quarters or extra innings are counted in the final score when wagering on the moneyline.

Total (Over / Under) Wagers
The total (over/under) is the sum of all points scored in the game by both teams. You can choose to bet on the OVER or the UNDER.
For a bet on the OVER you are betting that the combined scores of the two teams will be MORE than the listed total.
For a bet on the UNDER, you are betting that the combined scores of the two teams will be LESS than the listed total.
If the sum of all points in the game equals the total exactly, then this would constitute a push and your original bet amount would be returned to you.
Please note: Overtime periods, quarters or extra innings are counted in the final score when wagering on totals.

3 way betting
Three way betting is the name given to the type of bet where you have three options to pick from, like in soccer or NHL. The options are:
team A to win
team B to win or
the game to end in a draw/tie.
If the match/game ends in a tie, but you did not bet on the tie, then your bet will lose. There are no pushes in three way betting.
Quarter/Half line Wagers
For Quarter and Half betting you can select to bet on the result of a particular quarter or half.
A First Quarter Line and a First Half Line will be offered before the start of the game. A Second Quarter Line will be offered at the end of the 1st Quarter. A Second Half Line will be offered during Half Time. A Third Quarter Line will also be offered during Half Time. A Fourth Quarter Line will be offered at the end of the 3rd Quarter.
These lines are only on the result of one particular quarter or half. If you wish to bet on the result of the entire game while it is in progress please use our In-Game (Live Betting) options.
Fourth Quarter line does not include overtime. Second Half and In-Game lines do include overtime.
